Or, at least the 7th Umbral story line. Worked my way into the 7th Astral (btw, any one else notice that makes it now the 14th era? Nice little detail) and am currently on Rock-solid Protection. Unfortunately, that was late last night and to progress I need to run a dungeon (The Sunken Temple of Qarn), so I called it quits for the moment.
The last two missions / dungeons of the 7th Umbral were fun, but I think both groups were speed-runs so I didn't really get to enjoy them as much as I'd have liked. Thank goodness you can view cutscenes in your inn room!
Got Ninja up to 50 and picked up the iLvl 90 class gear. Guess it's time to start grinding for that relic weapon and higher level gear. I do want to get through to Heavensward so I can unlock Dark Knight, Machinist, and Astrologian - depending on how rough it is getting through the quest lines to reach HW content, I may just ignore the grind for the moment. I know HW gives out iLvl 15 gear pretty quickly.

The Middle Seems Like A Good Place To Start ...
Hey all, welcome to Adventures in Eorzea - my irregularly updated blog about Final Fantasy XIV.
I've been playing off and on since 1.0 open beta, and I still consider myself a noob. Take, for example, that I'm just now getting towards the end of the 7th Umbral quest line (currently at The Black Wolf's Ultimatum). I have one class at 46 (Rogue/Ninja) and my next highest is Gladiator at 29. So while I'm not really at the beginning of my journey, I'd say I'm still pretty close.
So, check back every now and then to see what new noobish things I've been up to.
Peace,
Caelen
